So excited to be leaving tomorrow for an epic adve

So excited to be leaving tomorrow for an epic adventure! Over the space of 5 days we’ll be trekking from one extreme to another in the land of the unexpected – Papua New Guinea: from gentle lapping waves and a warm tropical breeze under coconut trees by the seaside through to subzero temperatures, howling winds, sleet and the hauntingly beautiful Mars-like landscape on the summit of the highest peak.
The only three constants will be rain, leaches and more rain.
From a sandy tropical beach at sea level (duh) across raging rivers, sweltering floodplains & through thick jungle with near 100% humidity and 36’c+ temperatures, up, up, up through the clouds and into the highlands across frigid rapids & through dense moss-covered rainforests, past sparse tundra plains all the way to a cloud shrouded barren rocky peak that sits at an altitude of 4,509m with temperatures below 0’c… and even a current forecast for snow!
